Pappu Preparation

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Toor Dal
1 packet Thota koora /Emeranthus leaves
1 tablespoon, more salt if needed Salt
1/2 spoon Chillipowder
6 Curryleaves
3 Green chillies

Directions:

1. Put emeranthus/thotakoora,dal and water in 1:2 ratio (1 cup dal and 2 cups of water) in Pressure cooker.

2. Keep it for 3-4 whistles.

3. Add tadka or popu to it using following ingedients in step 5.

4. Add salt,chilli powder to taste.

5. Heat oil and put turmeric,cumin,mustard seeds,garlic,red chillies,green chillies,curry leaves.

6. Add tadka to dal
