Gongura Chicken Preparation

Quantity Ingredient
1/2 Kg Chicken
1 packet Gongura Leaves
1 tablespoon, more salt if needed Salt
1/2 spoon Chillipowder
3 Green chillies

Directions:

1. Fry Gongura(make sure u remove the leaves from stem and cut them into small/medium pieces),Salt and Green chillies for some time. Let the mixture cool, grind it into thin paste and keep it aside

2. Marinate the chicken overnight/at least for 6 hours (Follow marination instructions in non veg curries page)

3. Heat oil and put turmeric,cumin,curry leaves in a pan.

4. Add chicken to mixture, slowly cook chicken with lid closed for 10-15min. 4. Put gongura paste in pan and pressure cook them for some time by closing lid.

5. Add salt(very less is needed as gongura and chicken already have it) to taste.

6. Keep it for 5-7min.
